Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) she is an English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 thanks to her irresistible electronic pop tracks "Starry Eyed" as well as Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her unique soprano sibilance and knack of writing catchy yet emotionally earnest tracks, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap is at the top of modern mainstream music as well as artistic, non-conformist pop.Goulding was soon moving from the blogosphere to print media, garnering praise from mainstream publications like The Guardian and fielding offers from record labels. The final decision was to sign a major label deal with Polydor Records and began making plans to launch her debut album.
