KateKate Middleton and Prince William first met in 2001, when they were both students from St. Andrews. According to legends, Prince William met Kate Middleton during a fashion event in which she was wearing transparent clothes, which sparked his interest. The couple began their relationship in the year 2003. Middleton was a roommate of Prince William in their second year at St. Andrews. About this time, Kate Middleton began to suffer harassment from media sources. The harassment caused many individuals to take legal action. In 2007 Kate and William broke up for reasons unknown. While rumors circulated soon afterward there was speculation that they had been reunited.
