Bellamy Young

Young's career in acting began with theater. In 1997, she made her Broadway debut as Mary in the original production of The Life. [8][9] She has also appeared Off-Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's show Merrily We Roll Along (1994) along with Randy Newman's Faust (1995-1996). [3][10] In 1995, she made her television debut as a regular in the NBC daytime soap the show Another World as Dr. Courtney Evans. The role was in Law & Order as a guest on two episodes in 1997, and again in 1998. She debuted in film in 1999. She had one minor part in Black and White. In the following years she appeared in various independent films. Then, in the beginning of 2000s, she began guest-starring roles on a number of comedy and drama shows on television, such as The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Between 2000 to the year 2011, Young made appearances in over 30 TV programs. Young was among the regular actors in Peacemakers which was a USA Network television series that ran from 2003 to 2004. After nine episodes, the series stopped after a single episode. The actress was a regular character on the Lifetime series For the People, a show that focuses on the law. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs as The Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs with Monica West (CSI: Miami, 2005-06) and ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) as well as CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney).
