Alex Flanagan

She is a graduate of at the University of Arizona and Salpointe Catholic High School located in Tucson, Arizona. Flanagan is a reporter for NFL Network as an anchor/reporter and also for NBC Sports as a sideline reporter during the Notre Dame home football games and also for Football Night in America. Flanagan is seen in the popular games on video Madden 10 and Madden 11, where she hosts a recap of the game's games along with Fran Charles. Alex hails from Sonoita in Arizona. She's got a husband, former University of Arizona basketball player Kevin Flanagan. They have two daughters and a son. Alex's father is the owner of two Arizona steakhouses, The Steak Out (located at Sonoita) as well as Dove Mountain. Flanagan started her career at KVOA-TV as a student and anchor of the news. In 1998, she began covering sports. She was a reporter and anchor on NBC Sports as well as NFL Network, ESPN and Fox Sports. Additionally, she was a Gamma Phi Beta member. Her first TV job was as a news anchor and general assignment reporter at KCCO-TV, Alexandria, Minnesota following her graduation.
